Through diet, yoga and meditation, Ayurveda teaches good health, which is one of the best ways to show the love that you have for yourself. Everything you eat and drink, and the time that you spend exercising your body and mind, are ways that you can promote your health. When you can heal yourself from the inside out and the doshas within you are balanced, you will feel great!
After self-love, the path is clear to other kinds of love, which is such a wonderful aspect of life. We love our family and friends, as well as our significant others. Ayurveda believes that nurturing the relationships with those that we love is extremely important, for spending time with them is part of what makes life so meaningful. So this Valentine's Day, remember to give your family members a call, go out for lunch with a friend, and do something special for a significant other. However, do not forget to love your relationship with yourself as well! Take time on Valentine's Day for yourself. Enjoy a bubble bath, re-read your favorite book or take a nature walk by yourself.
